Who we are
MH Handcrafted is a custom design and fabrication studio. We build custom furniture, restaurant interiors, eye-catching brand activations, and unique event backdrops. Operating out of our Bloomingdale, Illinois workshop, we mix traditional woodworking with modern machinery to build pieces that are durable, functional, and look great.
The team
Founded by Masooma and Habib, MH Handcrafted is a true partnership. Masooma handles the design side — turning ideas into clean layouts, digital models, and 3D renderings. Habib runs the shop floor, managing the CNC machining, structural builds, and final finishes to make sure every piece is built to last. Together, we've grown from small weekend projects into a reliable fabrication partner for local business owners, brands, and event planners across the Midwest.
What we do
We like solving build challenges and creating things by hand. Because we handle both design and building in-house, we can make sure the final product looks exactly like the initial sketch. Our work includes:
