Behind the scenes: The workshop
Every piece that leaves our workshop starts the same way: as an idea scribbled on paper, a sketch sent by a customer, or a conversation about a special celebration.

Whether it’s a custom birthday backdrop, a personalized wedding sign, a baby shower centerpiece, or a one-of-a-kind party display, we believe the best decorations tell a story. Our job is to bring that story to life through wood, craftsmanship, and a lot of sawdust.

Most mornings begin with a walk through the shop. We review projects in progress, organize materials, and plan the day’s cuts and assembly work. Sheets of wood become individual pieces, carefully measured and cut before moving on to sanding, painting, staining, and finishing.

One of our favorite parts of the process is personalization. Adding a family name to a welcome sign, creating custom lettering for a birthday milestone, or designing something completely unique gives every project its own personality. No two orders are exactly alike, and that’s what keeps our work exciting.

Of course, not everything goes perfectly. Sometimes a design needs to be adjusted. Sometimes we start over because a finish isn’t exactly right. We take pride in the details, and we’d rather spend extra time getting something perfect than settle for “good enough.”

By the time a piece is packaged and ready for pickup or delivery, it has passed through many hands and many hours of care. What customers see is a finished decoration. What we see is the journey behind it—the planning, creativity, craftsmanship, and passion that made it possible.

We can’t wait to see what we’ll build next.
